Indonesia holds ASEAN Chairmanship in 2023, aims to support resilient region and making South East Asia the epicentrum of growth. Three cooperation priorities are set: food and energy security, health, and financial stability.

The inaugural ASEAN Solar Summit seeks to enhance and accelerate energy transition in ASEAN member states with solar energy, cultivates active solar-focused partnership within the region and globally, boosts clean energy investment, and showcases successful solar stories for knowledge exchange.
​
The Summit expects to bring together high-level policymakers in ASEAN and partner countries, prominent global and regional business players, leading financial institutions, renowned academics, and professionals with deep link to solar industries.
